Recently Foy Vance announced that he'd be seeling limited edition EP's at his latest UK & Ireland tour. Needless to say this excited quite a few people! And since I wasn't able to get to the gig (As it sold out rather quickly in Belfast!) I sent Iain along with £10 of my money, to buy me the 2 EP's on offer, entitled "Portraits of the Artsist" and "Time Lays Low"

They are amazing. I think it's a great idea and a very personal thing, and although there may be 1000 copies out there of this, I still somehow feel part of it all. And I guess that's what Foy wanted to do.
"The whole idea of created 2 limited edition EPs (1000 of each) and not putting them in shops, only releasing them via gigs is a way of giving you some music (that I’d usually keep to myself) by way of saying thanks for the support." - Foy Vance

I really enjoyed the Black Box gig as part of the Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival, and was gutted not to get tickets to the latest gig (also becuase the amazing Lowly Knights were supporting!), but I'm glad I was able to get my hands on a copy of the EP's.

So since I know many couldn't get there, or couldn't get their hands on a copy of the EP's, I've included a link to download them (not my link may I point out!). I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
